Afghanistan Policy Dialogue
The Afghanistan Policy Dialogue program (APDP) was established in response to our growing concern about increased threats to women’s and girls’ rights in the context of peace talks with the Taliban. This program promotes the centrality of Afghan women’s voices, views, and experiences to peace talks in particular and to the peacebuilding process generally.
We do this by amplifying the voices of Afghan women activists in Canadian and international platforms, such that women’s demands will not be ignored during efforts to reach a political settlement with the Taliban.
Join us raising awareness and calling for action from the international community in protecting the rights of Afghan women and girls in Afghanistan. Find a Chapter in your area or access our Advocacy Toolkit
