Administration, Planning and Human Resources Manager
We are seeking an Administration, Planning and Human Resources Manager to manage all major HR activities within the organization, in addition to providing leadership on administration, policies, and planning. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administration, Planning and Human Resources Manager is a dynamic professional with leadership experience in a variety of HR activities such as: recruitment and onboarding, performance management, professional development, contracts administration and more. This role also includes supporting the management of the organization’s small grants program; reviewing RFPs, REOIs and RFQs; managing the review and compliance of the organization’s policies; and coordinating the organization’s annual planning process. We are seeking skilled fundraising professionals with knowledge of the international development context to
join our Canada-based team in flexible roles with lots of potential to grow further with the organization as we
further develop and solidify our well diversified funding portfolio. Working with our staff team in Canada and
Afghanistan, the board of directors, chapters and virtual volunteers, fund development contractors will
support our work identifying and pursuing prospects, maintaining and developing existing donor
relationships, exploring new modes of funding, and evolving our fund development approaches
We will consider skilled fundraising professionals on contract for a range of different fund development functions in the organization, from strategy development to proposal writing to donor stewardship.
