An International Women’s Day Message from our Executive Director

This year for International Women’s Day, we are not celebrating. We are grieving for rights that have been lost, we are standing in solidarity with women who may not be able to live the lives that they choose, and we are looking ahead to a future where everyone has the freedom to live with dignity and purpose.

In this video, Dr. Lauryn Oates, Executive Director of CW4WAfghan, shares a message for International Women’s Day 2022. Thank you for your solidarity and for your work. The time to speak out is now.
